Our Founders:
The company Nicolin & Gublin® was founded in Montreal (Canada) in 1998, by Charlotte Nicolin and Sylvain Gublin. They decided to combine their respective talents and experience in order to create the Nicolin & Gublin® concept and universe, presenting a range of breathtaking artwork, which is accessible to an ever-widening circle of art lovers.

Charlotte Nicolin is a visual artist and has been creating her art while living in various countries around the world for the past twenty-five years.

French-born Sylvain Gublin is an entrepreneur and a specialist in innovation. For more than twenty five years he has built up his experience throughout a range of industries across Europe and North America, creating new niche markets, successfully developing and launching new products, and managing subsequent marketing and sales campaigns. He is the president of Nicolin & Gublin® and responsible for its marketing and development. Gublin is continually seeking to expand the Nicolin & Gublin® artwork range and to develop new products.

Both Charlotte Nicolin and Sylvain Gublin are closely involved in every aspect of Nicolin & Gublin®'s activities, personally ensuring that the quality of service and products is being adhered to at all times.

The Art, our Products:
Our products are all derived from the creations of Charlotte Nicolin. Her art has been transposed onto different media, creating Nicolin & Gublin®'s universe. We present her original and limited edition artwork (original oil paintings on canvas, lithographs, limited editions on canvas and on art paper), as well as decorative and functional items like signed prints, wall plaques, magnets, ceramic tiles, mugs, garments, watches, clocks, coasters, mouse pads, bookmarks, cards, etc.

Our Philosophy:
Nicolin & Gublin® has a simple, yet defined philosophy which is to create artwork of the highest quality, portraying the wonders of nature, which is accessible to an ever-widening audience, for the enjoyment of everyone!

Our Premises:
Nicolin's studio, the Nicolin & Gublin® permanent gallery and workshop are all located in the Old Montreal (Canada). This location, a centre for the arts, is also a strategic spot for shipping worldwide. In addition, Nicolin & Gublin®'s production is presently available worldwide through select art galleries and gift shops at aquariums, zoos, museums, hotels, etc.

Our customers are important to us. Nicolin & Gublin® prides itself on its professional and courteous approach and its willingness to meet clients' needs.

Nicolin & Gublin® has built up an international network, collaborating with art collectors, corporations, architects, interior designers and retail stores worldwide. The diversity of creations at Nicolin & Gublin® satisfies the experienced art lover as well as people looking for original gifts and souvenirs.

Our Quality:
Quality and integrity are the key words of our whole team. Only the finest materials available are used for the original oil paintings, original art furniture, limited editions on canvas or on art paper and all our studio gift items. All materials are thoroughly tested in a range of conditions to make sure that the finished product is as durable as possible. The manufacturing of our products takes place on our own premises. If we need to collaborate with an external supplier, we make sure they can comply with our high-quality standards. All products leaving our premises have gone through a thorough in-house quality check.

Our Concern for the environment:
One of our most important commitments is to demonstrate a responsibility towards future generations. Nicolin & Gublin® pledges to work for the preservation of nature and its inhabitants, be it marine or terrestrial. In 2004 we collaborated with Rescousse, a non-profit organisation that raises funds to donate to La Fondation de la faune du Québec for the protection of endangered species in the province of Quebec, Canada. We are open to suggestions from environmental institutions.
